Changed to a bigger rad in aluminuim today. The old one had a crack, so now is the cooling system better than ever.

The changed air intake manifold makes it difficult to get all the air flow panels back in. They are also a pain when you need to work on the engine and tubing there. What are your plans there?

Yes, by having the wagner manifoil I need to soulve some minor issues. I`m most problably going to try making something by my own.
I`m looking forward to get this baby back on the road as well. Unfortunatly I don`t have all the time I want, so it just need to its time.

Was popping by the workshop in order to deliver some new parts, but ended up fiddeling around a bit with the S2.
New K/N replacement filter. Awsome sound in a open filter, but I think this would have a nicer sound by faar.
"New" Blaupunkt Bremen MP76. An amaxing head unit wich I have had in several of my Audis before. But most important, it looks faar better in a B4 than the more futuristic Pioneer.
Got also adjusted and modified the S2 front bumper to fit. As you have seen I have a "little" bit bigger intercooler than originale, but it seems to be ok after triming some edges

Because I hate to see salt on my car, so that's why I do not drive it in winter. I convinced my wife 10 years ago to buy a house that has a big garage, so this comes in handy now. I also suspend it from road taxes, so it doesn't eat any money for a change .
With the weather getting better, I'm starting to get anxious in driving it again. I need to replace the leaking brake booster though, that generates break failure alarms. I've got a new one lying around waiting to get fitted. This will be a big fiddling operation, seeing the cramped space it's sitting in.

You're completely right. The RS is accepted as the family get-fast-to-your-holiday-location vehicle, so that will happen! I'm taking it step by step, improving some items each year.
I'm thinking doing some nice driving roads in the UK, trying to find these spots where Top Gear makes these nice movies, looking forward to that!
I got the message that my front bumper was finished by the painter, so I am going to pck it up tomorrow
Since I`m using the original S2 front bumper I got a hold of this competition front lip. Looking forward to fit it!

Got my S2 front bumper from the paintshop and changed it out with the RS2-bumper. I think it looked sick with the black ellipsoids and the RS2 grill! Also attached S2 fog lights and white side indicatior.
Also took a closer look at the rear stabilisator which was bigger than normal and confirmed that it was a Neuspeed 19mm with extra strengthening links.
My front brakes is 330mm Porsche GT3 with yellowsuff pads. Does it brakes? YES!
The rear brake discs are drilled and grooved.
Fastend the exhaust a bit better with some new mounts and found some nice endpipes under all the dirt

Get some new fog lights to freshen up the front, they're not really expensive.
