Your opinion on S6 interior colour.

Chaps i would appreciate your opinions.I am currently breaking my minty C4 30V estate i have owned for the last 8 years and need to make a decision on whether to keep the black leather interior in my S6 or swap mint Ecru (cream) leather interior into the S6.

Seeing this picture below has fueled doubts in my mind plus Macsprings comments below as to what i should do.Ecru or Black?

Car, paint colour, wheels, stance, interior, no chrome - pretty much knocks it out of the park !

IMHO.

Anyone have any more details or photos ?

Here's mine taken a few days ago with it's black interior.Both mine and the above cars are the same colour.Ming Blue.

I've got an Indigo Pearl S4 with the Ecru leather and it looks fantastic when clean! I've seriously considered swapping for black leather in the past complete with all the trims and carpets as the cream ones really show up all the scuffs. However I've never been able to convince myself to get rid of the Ecru seats so have always decided against it. I've got black mats in mine and I think the contrast between the black and cream looks great. I wonder whether you could have the best of both worlds by being selective about what you swap, ie. perhaps use the seats and door cards from the cream interior but keep the dark carpets and trims. I think this would be my preferred combination.

My vote goes for Ecru. Looks more luxurious IMHO.
Needs more attention to keep clean but doesn't fry your balls in hot summer days.

I think Ecru would be my choice (emerald URS4 with cloth interior currently).

Tricky one, i would be inclined to keep as std but each to thier own.

To me it is too too nice to break. Are there no buyers? Did you ask?

I'd keep it black but would be interested in some pictures to see what it looks like with cream with a view to change my mind

My Ecru interior in the pearl blue C4.You should also get an idea from the top photo of the car at the beginning of the thread what Ming Blue and Ecru look like together.

I've black in one and ecru in the other.
It feels light and bright with ecru
Dark n dismal with black
But I'll be breaking both cars so don't mind either way
I'd imagine cream carpet is a s#d to keep clean though

I had an ecru interior in my s2 Avant when i bought it but working in a garage could never keep it clean, so swaped in a black interior which is lovely but i do miss the old ecru one, pure class!.

Mark, apologies, if I messed with your karma, I would leave your UrS6 as is, i.e. with the black leather, it wears better and is more suitable for real life.

I have grey alcantara inserts in my green S6, and am considering swopping out the seats with a set of black leather ones from my blue auto S6, to preserve the grey alcantara seats.

Do you need to break the A6, must easier to store the parts as a complete car.

I'd personally go for Ecru, especially considering the condition of it. It might take more work to move the whole interior, but it will be well worth it.
