My head has been in a spin since that picture was posted and the very positive comments you made. It was only when i re read your comments that i realised you meant the interior too.I have always like Ecru thinking it sophisticated and Luxurious. I need to break the car as it has stood idle for 4 years because of an immobiliser fault.Unbelievably everything still works on the car perfectly just that the engine starts but cuts out a couple seconds later.I just couldn't afford at the time to get the car fixed as priorities were somewhere else when our son was due.I did ask Audi and they were saying at least £800 - 1K and i just couldn't afford an open cheque book with them.I ordered from audi a new ignition barrel with the incorporated immobiliser coil reader so i now will have a full perfect lock set should i ever need one.
Money is tight, we have 4 other audis so to put the car through an Mot which it will need at least 4 new tyres plus the clutch pedal has dropped to the floor so new slave cylinder. The brakes are still ok but it needs new discs. If i went through all that and tried to sell some bright spark would say, when was the cambelt changed.I would have to say 5 years ago but only a 1000 miles ago.Potential buyer would say so it needs a cambelt then, thats £500 straight of the sale price. As the S6 overshadows the 2.8 30V, resale is going to be quite low so not worth bothering with.
Instead i can benefit with lots of mint nice things of this car like it's cruise control, skooshers, electric sunroof,it's climate control and a center console with a full compliment of switches which as you will know is extremely rare to find on any S6 let alone a 2.8. I have already sold the front wings. The 2.8 lump will stay with me though. Plus i am really getting to know the C4 A6 by doing this.

No worries there Andy.I think the colour is definitely an age thing.
but there is no "Cream" or "Creamy" in the B3/B4 or C4 colour offerings. But there is "ecru" (a version of beige).
