Yes it was a very nice example. I have been told he has purchased a mini cooper JCW Convertible lol... a bit different to the RS4 but hey each to their own!
If i find out more info on the car I will let you know bud.
That would be great,Id appreciate any nformation. Its a real shame that its had the little knock on the near side rear door, I am being very picky but I will get that addressed. My next move will have to be a house with a double garage....
I would also like to know who owned it and let a black dog run wild al over the rear seats. It took me ages to clean the leather and vacuum up a whole dogs coat from under the rear bench..(;
Random. Neither of those previous family owners have dogs so it must be either a friends dog of theres or a previous owner. I will ask at some point though lol
Bit of an update with this one. I've been steadily doing bits as time allows. I went to look at the grumbly off side rear bearing when I noticed the tyre was 50 p shaped. On further inspection I realised most of the bushes were perished. I've since done a pair of rear springs rear shocks turrets and black poly bushes. I used all Audi bits with the exception of the polys anyway. I have changed the diffs and gear oils too. I also noticed that the temp gauge dropped as the cold weather kicked in. Clearly the thermo was stuck open. I was not happy as the cam belt etc has just been done. Sadly the front end all had to come off to replace a 25 quid thermo. I could of kicked the lazy Audi tech who couldn't be bothered to undo 2x10 mm bolts and swap it. While the front bumper was off I replaced the 3 grills with new Audi items and new clips. My last job on my list is to solder in some s4 Sid EGT boards. One bank throws an intimitant fault which Caps boost to 2/3 potential. Once done 2 rear tyres and a full alignment and she'll be ready for spring
Where did you get the refresh kit from? Or are you on about bushes. I wanted to keep the car original so my choices were very limited. I suggest you buy turrets now. They will be rotten from the back out.!!!
You will definitely need turrets. Mine peeled apart as I drew them away from the inner tub. The good news is it's an easy enough job. Your car looks mint
