nice !! so what solution do u have choose for the 5x112 front conversion ?
btw i have a genuine rear spoiler from a 80 (not competition) in Alu if you got some interest ;-)

For the front I used B5 quattro rear hubs and outer CV joints. The hubs needed a fair bit of modification, but the CV joints are plug ´n play on the original B3 driveshafts. (without the ABS ring!)
I do have a lathe, but since the metal of a wheel hub is hardened to a ridiculous extent, I had the machining done by a local machine shop.
Also bought an extra B3 hub as an example for the metal workers; IMG_20160505_214437.jpg
Left is B3.
I was unaware that the radius on the B5Q CV-joint splines is a fair bit larger than on the B3 ones, so those parts of the hubs needed to be reamed out a bit further.
Decided to tackle that myself; IMG_20160613_144115.jpg
When that was all done everything bolted up together nicely.
For the rears I used 100 C4 rear hubs, instead of the more often used B5 rear disks with integrated hubs.
This gives me the opportunity to upgrade the rear brakes in a later stadium. (Those 17" need to be filled up with something.)
For now, I re-used the original disks and redrilled them in 5x112.
The C4 hubs have an ET which is a couple millimeters more outboard than the B3 hubs, so i placed spacers behind the brake calipers to avoid problems.
The front brakes were changed to a B5 280mm setup, which is a straight swap in combination with this 5x112 conversion.
Maybe I'll change to Girling 60 calipers in the future, but for now the difference is massive compared to original.
Besides the above I also took the opportunity to shotblast the front struts and repaint them in epoxy.
Also removed all brake lines from the car and made new ones in Cunifer.

Awesome find at the scrappers yesterday, got these for €10- each.
Already blasted and primed, they will be rebuild with new seals etc.
I'll fit them to the 80 IF i can still run the 16" competition wheels with them.
Any colour suggestions?

Alfa calipers, they are not bad for audi 80. There is a chance to accomodate them in spacy 16" rims.
Can you confirm that their mounting holes distance is 140mm?

Mounting holes are 15cm apart center to center. They're indeed from an Alfa 166. I've seen them on the car with the original 16" wheels, so it probably can be done.
I presume you're on the look out for a black leather interior and Recaro front seats.
Yep! Or make B5 or C5 seats fit. The tough part is finding rear seats that fit the B3.
But I'm not in a rush, we'll see what pops up.
