You are always going to pay more at a dealer, but £7k for a 3b with 125,000 miles
I have always prefered to by cars privately as they represent much better value for money and garage "warranties" are more usually not worth the paper they are written on.....
If I were you, and you have up to £7k to spend, I would look for a ABY (1993 onwards 6 speed) privately, they are a better car IMO. When I bought mine I refused to look at 3B's and concentrated on looking for an ABY. I bought a mint ABY 18 months ago for £7500.

I also agree, £7k for a 3B . The white one seems a better deal but still a little pricey. Get yourself an ABY
