Dave, this IM is better than the 3B indeed but you just can't use it on a 3B engine, because of the distributor that's in the way.

a shot in the dark, but carpets... i need a new boot carpet as my bindingaround the edge is all torn. I'll also "claim" the front footwell overmats if they are decent and genuine as my after market ones don't have the audi rings on them and have no holes for the locating lugs...

I'll take the little door that accesses the battery in the RS2 trunk. Mine is missing which a previous owner has replaced with a piece of carpetted harboard screwed onto position. Sounds naff but it's not that bad. At the moment I need to use a screwdriver to access the battery and have to keep the tools with the spare wheel. I want to clear the rear wheel well (yes, and throw away the spare!) for something else to go in there

I forgot to put this on the list I emailed you, Marco. Bid 5Euro for it!!

@ Dave (Desmo888), just to complete Mihneas answer, the RS2 IM is just same dimensions as the ABY one (about 1 liter more volume than the 3B).
Only difference with the ABY is the "PORSCHE" written on top of it. If you can manage to have one of those bigger IMs and fit it to your engine (but some mods must be done accordingly to free space for the distributor) the bigger volume will help feed all five runners with a more even flow possible, expecially in a tuned engine.

Aah but I like porsche..... but no you're right.....
...... and if the worst ever came to the worst, and an insurance inspector had to look at the car, I don't think they'd believe it was a cosmetic change only....and that would really be a PITA!
