Hello peeps
This is all a bit sudden, but a combination of things means i'm thinking of selling my RS2, even though i've only had it a couple of months.
Main problem for me is some unwanted attention its received recently. Admittedly i don't live in the most salubrious part of London, but in the past 10 days, i've had the rear badge and rear aero wiper nicked.
Both have been replaced, no idea how long these will last.
Secondly and more importantly, i'm having real problems finding a comfortable driving position and with my dodgy back, its not doing me any favours. Have tried various permutations to no avail, its driving me mad....
Thirdly, a 911 which I missed out on 3 years ago is back up for sale, quite keen to make a move on that.
So here goes....
1995 Audi RS2, standard spec
Polar Silver
Excellent condition
MOT 12/06 (has tax, but can't remember how much!)
4 previous owners (4th owner same as 3rd, but switched from his company name to his own name)
86k miles
HPI Clear
FASH up to 80k (receipts from 1999-2004)
Big Service at MRC last month (85k) - £700, all fluids changed, IC mod
Recent front discs/pads 304x32, and handbrake shoes (Fitted at Audi) - £900
4 new Vredestein Ultrac 225/45 tyres 500 miles ago - £400
Black leather with grey Alcantara inserts - mint, one minor blemish on front pass. door
£13750
Corey is currently making up adaptors to fit some GT3 Mk1 Calipers and 965 drilled 1pc discs upfront - I intend to honour this with Corey and any future buyer and will be included as part of the deal.
Recent remote central locking kit fitted.
Clear Side repeaters.
Will throw in new MB Quart 4" Comps, which i've never got round to fitting. The car has an old Alpine HU and amp fitted. Both work, but no sound from rear door speakers.
Really don't want to sell, but i'm not having some pikey f***er helping themselves to my property; I'd rather sell it in the condition its in now, rather than see it deteriorate due to some 'tin-hat'.
The car is amazing to drive, goes really well. Its had money spent on it, which always a good sign. Will make someone very happy. Located in SE London.
Cheers ears

Apologies for the camera-phone photo, only one i've got

) , park it somewhere a bit different for a couple of weeks, paint your brake callipers black instead of red and buy a disklock to go over the steering wheel..... that way there's no RS2 sign anywhere on show. Oh, and remember to always park next to a nicer, newer car than your own
.
I took it to a local alarm centre and they fitted a Proximity Warning system. It basically lets off a loud chirp when it detects movement close to the car and it's adjustable as well as having an overide switch. It won't set off the alarm so you won't get any annoying false alarms but it does stop anyone wanting to draw attention to themselves!! :mischeif:
