S2 ABY Coupe

Well, I've been let down by my buyer this morning as my fuel pipes wern't original. They rotted at some point (as they do) and had been replaced with 8mm bore copper pipe and been connected with a small piece of fuel pipe. I know of a few peoples cars like this so figured this was fine. NOT a reason to pull out of a sale a few hours before collection was due NOT what I would expect for a forum member (oh and he hadn't seen this - it was me that explained it to him)

So it's for sale again

I see nothings changed whilst I've been away then eh? Great forum for info, sh**e to be part of. If there's one thing I've learnt over the past 3 weeks, it's that "Life is to short" for this crap, so I'm off.

Bleedin odd thing to pull out for not like it was a duff job done there, or something like a dodgy gearbox or something had been discovered - so go figure? And to be treat like that by a fellow Forum member too makes it well worse!

And the fact I told him I didn't need a deposit as I trust him (won't happen again ) and I payed for a cherished transfer for the plate that I'm now going to have to put back on the car. Not happy isn't in it

i may have used the wrong word..... but it just does not like to go in reverse. and after a run it does not like 1st, especially if been in 6th for a while on motorway, and then back in to town traffic.
Probably summit simple, but its lack of know hows & wot to do atm?
So will try the short shift thing etc.
Other than that, i love the car..........
Even got him a remote start so he can warm himself if winter here is a bit cold
