In a B3 / B4 chassis, any transmission will accommodate the 20V engine, as far as bolt - together goes.

Ratios vary, so it would help if you state what engine currently sits in your car?

20V engine will bolt to current 5 speed tranny, but a bit low geared. Will accellerate quicker than a stock 20V, but maximum speed (academic anyway) won't be as good.

Ideally, a 5 speed tranny from 2,226/2,309cc (KV/NG) will be better.

            7a in 1,6 compartment

7a and 1,6liter 4syl HAVENT the same boltpattern;sorry, have i told so ,its WRONG..... by the way,the 5syl arent mount at the same way ether.. the 4syl(exept diesels) have the mount on the gear/front end subframe ,the 5syl have the mount in the car ,at the innerwing, not in the subframe, and this enginemount arent a part you can by ,only take from a scraped car....and weld properly on!!!

Β4 1.6 does mount on the car and not on the subframe.Subframe mounting was only on the B3 typ89 car.

                    In B3 / B4 cars, the bellhousing was multi-holed - will accept IL4, IL5, V6 and V8 engines...
