Don't wan't to be rude, but these sell for about 1000e here in Finland(base engine without extras) which is an expencive country. Should be something like 700-900e elsewhere. Have to add shipping also. Just my 2c.

Two years ago I paid around 1500 euros only for rebuild my Cylinderhead. Only for rebuild this, and I mount this in my car

In the last two years the price for an S2 and UrS4 it's really high

6 years ago you can buy an Rs2 for 10.000 an S2 for 3.000 and a UrS4 for 1.500. Now this prices are impossible to find

This same week I can see in ebay a 3b engine for 4.000 euros in Poland

I'm not angry, for only 900 euros this engine stay in my home. If you find a complete aan engine in good condition in this time for only 700 euros buy it. No doubt. This engine only have 160.000 kms and its complete

I also have AAN engine for sale ... but who want it ...under 1500euro we canot talk about selling... every day it worth more..

These engines needs to taken apart in every way. And what would you do with a stock engine? It's good for some parts but very much need to be uprated. Some building a perfect orginal museum build then I understand.

No, but one did go just for 1ke. And like I sayd this is a expencive country. Usually they are not more than 1,5ke here(full AAN engine). An 2.8 V6 goes for 150e. I don't have need for any engine, sorry for messing up the thread.

Those ebay engine prices are just stupid. A overhauled head yes, can be 700e easily. Machining work is really expencive here. But I get the idea of an 100% genuine orginal engine.

Coincide with you that those ebay prices are very high. But we must not forget that we have spent this year with RS2 that have gone through more than 40,000 euros, or the Aby for more than 20,000. Even the UrS4 are above the 10,000 in Germany.

All this influences the price of spare parts. And more when they are original and so necessary. And most importantly, they are no longer manufactured. I'm really convinced that some more time would be more expensive.


In Spain, the machining work is not high. Check and leave it flat/smooth around 120 euros. If you have to make valve seats or change rods, or Weld conduits thing will go up and then you have to pay more. Do not forget it's 20v.

3 years ago I'm paid 1500 euros for rebuild my Cylinderhead. All seats, guides, 10 new valves, rebuild conduits, change chain... Really new

No problem in sending one of the Cylinderhead by the engines i have with the work done from here. Ready to mount.

It is a possibility more than perhaps it would be beneficial for all As I am always open to dialogue. It is the best way to find the common good.

I do not consider it necessary because these engines work and are in good condition, besides having a few kilometers, aan 160 and 3b only 80.000 but there are always people who prefer to leave new things

On the other hand, I congratulate you for the work you are doing with your UrS4. It's incredible
