Yes and no.
I have got my.original pump and it's running but it was leaking slightly .maybe it could seal up somehow but I didn't try it

I fitted one from ECP listed for the T4 transporter. It’s a few years ago though.

I bought one from VW Heritage at the end of August last year. 034-965-561/C original Audi / VW. I think there were only a couple left. Listed on invoice as for T25 80-92 And T4 90-03. There are plenty of pattern ones out there which may be perfectly good but I played it safe and went OE.

Thanks for the updates to all....I have just removed the pump but I cannot find any indications of where coolant could have been leaking from...
there's no cracks in the plastic body and I checked that the pump rotates with a separate 12v supply and it spins.
can the pumps leak when they are hot from any internal seal??
i can get a pump from europarts for just over £70...
nothing is straight forward is it.......

My parts arrived safely on Friday, thanks
