URQ ecu chipped
i have a ecu that has been superchipped by dialynx, just bought it for the wr took the old ecu out to find that the ecu in the wr has already been chipped by superchips, not looking for alot just sensable offers please 07786160103 (tom)

Best thing to do IMO.
Sell ECU with Supership on ebay (as i doubt anyone on here will buy it) , remove other superchip from current ECU and sell on ebay.
Contact MRC for a proper generic chip or remap

WR's are a particularly weird animal... Its not mappable like the Motronic system. Fuelling is a K-Jetronic derivative from memory so no computers there... Ignition is ECU controlled, so is boost of course but the common upgrade on the WR's ECU is to hack its MAP sensor with a zener diode bodge to fool it into thinking that it needs to keep on boosting up to the . AFAIK - this diode bodge is the only component of a 'superchipped' upgrade on the WR.Paul Nugent

hmmm the superchip in the wr is great imo and never had any problems then again the cars only got 66,000 milesComment

No changes are made to the chip in a WR box, its just a diode mod or as in my case a track cut and another shorted. Anyway, its great and allows you to fit a 1Bar spring and go a lot quicker.Comment
