    S2Coupe front bumper

Colour coded Indigo Pearl had a repair to the lower lip which you can see as a slight wobble in one of the pictures. Otherwise all good. No headlight washer holes. The bumper is collect from Luton or I can bring it back here to Surrey when I go up next week!

    £500

They are seemly impossible to find here in New Zealand. Would you entertain the idea of getting a quote?
        PM me if so.

        Regards,
        Andre

I've packaged an S2 bumper once to get it to a member in the states, once safely packaged it was huge and it took me nearly a day to do it, it cost an absolute fortune to send but did get there in one piece.

I'm not trying to put John off sending it but I dread to think of the cost's involved these days...

You could probably pick up a V6 cabriolet for less money and have a whole car to break as well as a bumper, that's if they're anything like the same price down there... Just a thought anyway.

I (almost!) sold my damaged RS2 bumper on e-bay a few years ago, I packaged it in a box that originally had a bumper in it, it was perfect but LARGE. When I enquired with courier companies I think there was only one that would deal with it and if I remember right they were looking for £250+ to take it to Norway.
I had to withdraw from the sale as I'd under-estimated the courier cost. It's still sitting in the spare room

Paying £250 or more seems like a great deal for shipping to me, rather than buying the only cabriolet I've ever seen for sale to the tune of £7000
Sorry Newsh, a little off topic but here it is https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/c...0?bof=syHeZ5Tu

I suspect the shipping to NZ will be between £500/£700… Which one can pick up a tatty Cabriolet for in the UK, though they are starting to thin out now. Obviously thats not an option down there…

I would have a collecting problem if I lived in the UK

I was looking at prices of shipping a while ago for a package that I was getting from Germany, there were some silly quotes but got an OK price in the end. It does look like shipping costs have dropped a little but to ship a bumper to NZ will cost £700+ as there are always hidden charges and impot duties to pay Note the 75Kg is volumetric weight and not the actual weight of the bumper, as it's going to be a big box and will need to be that little bit bigger to give it some protection in shipping, so wherever you get one from shipping costs are going to be more expensive than the bumper you will buy unfortunately.

Yeah, those are the sort of quotes I was expecting... It cost the buyer £250 to get my spare one over to the states 10 years ago.

Shame he just shut up shop so suddenly like that, I saw he was listing everything he had for sale in one big listing on ebay but nothing really of value.

So far I've only seen one guy actually bothering to import bumpers into America anymore.

If it was Mike from Lockerbie/Scotland he unfortunately passed earlier this year.
his son (also Mike) is still into his Audis but doesn’t break them, not sure if he still gets on here.
