There's not many around with intact tabs and there is enough on them to fix them in so I wouldn't worry about that

Are there more than one version of s2 clocks? I.e did they differ at all between the 3b and aby etc?

Temp display can be retrofitted though, I did mine on the 3B, the space is there to mount it.

IIRC the symbols (or legends) on the Autocheck are slightly different between 3B and ABY.

Yes. Hitachi from memory. Never seen one on an S2 though. Only on 80.
