Coupe Quattro Shell

Hi guys,

On the drive at the moment I have a CQ20V shell, It can be made to roll by putting the 4 stud hubs back on if wanted. (although I have no wheels to fit these)

I will leave on it the front and rear subframe and also the rear diff and driveshafts (new CV boots on the front and all in good condition) I will leave the 5 gang box in too unless not wanted once again.

There are no brake calipers on the car as I have removed them for sale and flexi brake lines as they were BFGoodrich ones which I am keeping for my current car......

The car does have Doors, Wings, Bonnet, Windscreen and Rear bumper,

If a good offer is made then I will include the S2 front bumper unless that sells seperatly......

No interior (unless the door cards and dash are wanted), No clocks,
All suspension parts will be there too...........

Last call for parts before the shell goes to the tip, There is no drive train, I have three doors left (I know I have broken two cars up), two tailgates, lock, abs controller, wiper motors etc all nearly off the car, Tis going at the end of next week so shout now if you want any bits.......

Mate, I need the slam panel and the middle and lower front valance, they need to be ground off though. Are the still straight and in 1 piece as I need them for my type 85 90 quat.

Jees man - don't take that to the skip - its a perfect project shell for someone. If I was over that side of the water I'd be right after it. Nothing like starting from an empty shell.

get all the excess weight off, install a nice cage, strengthen where necessary, paint it white, install fuel & brake lines, hook up the running gear, an ABY loom and 2.5 stroker later with a good turbo and you have a monster trackday car... About 5-15k later depending on pocket depth

Just to calm anyone feeling ill at the idea of wasting the shell - Azman's putting everything back in the blue shell and I'm taking the red shell off him to reshell mine (the one bought off ebay with the damaged rear quarter). Seems to be a much wiser move than paying silly money to fix the damage or messing about with rear panels and wings.
Should be the ultimate test of amateur enthusiasm. and if it all goes **** up i'll have loads of 3B spares for sale.
But first I need a spark...

Matey, I was completely new to this in october 2004, since then I have stripped one engine to its bare bones, replaced a 7a with a 3b (with WAB doing alot and me being the apprentice), stripped two cars, (the blue one still on the drive) done 5 stud hub conversions and lots more bits that escape my brain all in the name of learning the car so I can keep the thing on the road when the garages forget what an I5 is
