This isn't an S6 Plus .. just a regular not-very-rare-at-all (on the continent) 4.2 S6. The ad is mostly nonsense!

There was also no S4 Plus, although the S4 was also available with the 4.2 V8!

Going to sound dim now but I thought that what made the S6 plus, an S6 plus, was that it had the 4.2 V8 engine. What differentiates the S6 plus from these standard 4.2 V8 A6's then?

S6+ 4.2 V8, engine code AHK = 326hp

Nope. Only the S6 plus has a 32-valve dohc 4.2 litre V8 and 326BHP with 295 lb-ft of twisty stuff. The s6plus was the first Audi to be built by Quattro GMBH.

AFAIK S4 Plus and S6 Plus were LHD only.

There were both 2.2 L 20vt (AAN) C4 S4's and S6's(saloons and avants).

There were also 4.2 L V8 C4 (ABH) S4's (saloons and avants) and 4.2 L V8 C4 (ACE) S6's (saloons and avants) S6's. However, there never an S4 plus, just S6 plus (saloons and avants) in the 1997 MY with the AHK 326 hp engine, as others have described.

The S6plus is in fact not an audi, or at least it does not have an audi vin number. It has a Quattro GMBH vin number. Also every chrome parts is annodizied (cant spell the word) black. The speedo goes to 300 km/h. It has a speciel interior, I do believe it is lowered more than s6 plus and so on.

My friend has one and I must say that it is a very fast and nice car to drive
