S2 Avant for sale

My S2 is definitly for sale, as I want to get an S4.

Im not going to beat around the bush, when I bought it it was a dog with ALOT of problems!
I have since spent a silly amount of money on it to transform it to what you see here:

Looked at S4 Avants for a good while, before I subsequently bought an S2 Avant. Long and convoluted route as real life always is. Only fiction has to make sense.

Nice cars, gorgeous interiors, pokey when dropped into say MRC. Interesting article on them in a recent car UK magazine. Can't quite remember which one just at the moment. OK, I'll get my coat on my way out.

Once the two turbos are changed to say GT2871RS, you won't be irked that it is not quick enough? Although the engine has to come out. Loads a money either way with either car.


Hope the register is kept up to date, either way.

For possible posting later this week, what are the latest stats to demonstrate why someone should consider buying an Avant now?

The S4 is a tempting route for alot of people im sure! God knows im tempted - but i'd never get rid of the S2, ooh no!

I dont want to get into a discussion regarding S2 or S4 pros and cons in this thread TBH

Why should anyone buy an avant... I cant really answer that lol, people want cars for different reasons!
I do know they are getting rare though, Ive been doing the register for the best part of a year, and I havent managed to find 100 of them yet...

Dest sad to hear you are defintley selling. If you'll consider selling the S8 wheels seperately let me know as i'll be up for them. Decided after seeing your car yesterday that i want a set!

it seems you have made your mind up....real shame....I can understand where you are coming from...keep hanging my nose over RS4's
me thinks thats partly Doug - MRC's fault..he's always got nice ones at his place....

I may have someone thinking about returning to the S2 fold.....

I knew it was all over for Dest as soon as I went out in Quattronutters car after he had been in it. If I wasn't so far down modding the S2, modding a bi-turbo is a seriously tempting option.

It's a different car completely though.

Ditto, good luck mate, if anyones after a tidy avant in a great colour with wheels, yours should be top of the list.

I looked at a couple of S4 saloons before the S2 but tbh i prefered the old skool feeling & shape of the S2. In the real world tho there's no denieing the S4 is a much tighter,modern car tho.

Tax is due end of August, so will probably have 6 months by the time its sold
MOT due sometime in March/April.
It failed the last mot on a blocked washer jet, head light aim, and a split steering rack boot. No other advisories atall.

New 1.8T coils with 034 Motorsport loom
New front fog to replace broken one
New Milltek rear silencer with custom stainless pipe to remove centre box and cats
Group buy boost gauge fitted with heater vent panel
HID front lights
Tinted side repeaters
Old hands free kit and alarm removed
Kenwood component front speakers
New rear speaker to replace non working originals
JVC MP3/USB headunit, will stay in if I get full asking price
New black interior.
Full polish by Steve (Fat Audi 80)
Rear window rubber metal joint colour coded
Homefry chip

There are probably some other bits Ive missed too!

I have tons of reciepts and paperwork, which includes most work being done by Audi dealers. Nearly all mot's present.
