Beetie, you are sent for a long stand in Cheshire. A friend of mine who was a trainee was sent for 4 foot ( you can tell how long ago this was!) of fallopian tubes at 10Am he returned at 3:30 in the afternoon ( when they were all panicking) with 4 foot of rubber pipe. He'd been to see some friends, had coffee a pub lunch and then gone to the stores to get this Bunsen burner hose. He said that he had to go miles for it!
