Already have and awaiting that answer. But I'm interpreting it like that is the P40 ceramic pad.

Nopes. Ran into some trouble and the whole fubared ceramic deal got me in a bad mood so I lost inspiration. Might look at it again in the spring.

            Brackets are still for sale!

            And...

With 95% certainty I can say that the solution have been found. I knew that they wouldn't be so stupid to make a custom caliper just for this setup. And it seems like it's the Cayenne, Q7 and Touareg caliper they used here. I have measured the ceramic pads I have for my ceramic setup and I can almost guarantee that these pads will work:

The info on pagid.com is (look in their online catalog. I can't link to it here):

Yes, Pagid is OE on Cayenne, Touareg, and Q7
The brakes for the Touareg, Cayenne, and Q7 are the same.

            T1414 are for steel rotors.

            Good luck!

I will post pictures of the ceramic pads with measurements so we can clear all doubt. But to tired now and have other stuffs going on. But the 176mm wide Cayenne/Q7/Touareg pads SHOULD work. But make sure you ge the 176mm wide ones since there are atleast three different models.

Cheers and keep me posted if you try em out.

The pads you want for the 6 pot are the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S pads with part number 955 351 939 50 or 955 351 939 51. I ordered the one ending on 50 but got the one ending on 51. The important thing is to tell them that you want them for the 380m discs.

The sad thing is that the calipers with these pads (and these pads are the only ones for these calipers) wont work with my discs. I have the 380mm MTM discs that's for the 8 pot black RS4/RS6/R8 calipers and these discs don't have as much disc surface as I need for the 6 pots. =( This results in the pads slamming into the center of the disc. You can read the details and see the pictures here.

I honestly don't know what to do know. The brake conversion ran into a wall and I lost all will and strength to finish this. The only option I see is to find the cayenne discs and have new centers made for them, expensive.

                Hi Neo

Can you not stick the 8-pots on the front with the 365mm rotors and phaeton bells, along with your carrier? Or is this for the rear?

I still have mine fitted, your carrier has been tested around the nurburgring a few times already

Don't give up hope, you'll find or engineer a solution

                  Hi Sonic

Weee! Glad to hear that the carrier is out on the streets and tracks, S2s have a tendency to get stuck in the garage.

THe 6pot 380 mm is/was for the front. I lost my 8 pot calipers and 365 mm discs in the trade with the broken ceramic setup so this is all i have now.

Ah gutted, those pictures of the discs look bad.

You can use the "ceramic" callipers with normal pads/discs right? Get another set of discs and pads and you'll be good to go!

The pads I have are the only pads that fit to these calipers, except the ceramic ones (same measurements). So the only solution would be to either replace caliper and pads or the disc. The only disc I know works is the 380mm Porsche Cayenne TurboS disc (955 351 402 61) but I would need new hats for them and those discs are eeeeeexpeeeeeensive. Might find motivation again in a few days.

This is interesting. 380EUR is normal for pads like this though, I paid that too. The interesting thing here is that the pad you use s for a porsche 997 and I can not find them when I search for their part number. Do you have the pagid number or any other number? Where did you buy them? I'm curious, how do those pads sit in the caliper? Are they really a perfect 100% fit?

The pads I have are the pads for these calipers and they would work with the disc you have. Do you have any number on those discs? How much were they? Are they Brembos or who are the manufacturer?

I would appreciate any more clues and pictures you can give me. =) We can take it in PM or via mail if you want.

                          cheers! =)

edit: are those pads machined to fit?

edit2: After going through Pagid's online catalog the only 997 pads I can find that could be those are T1857 for Porsche 3.6 turbo with an OE number of 997 351 947 00. The problem with those are the size:

                          Width [mm] 190
                          Height [mm] 101,8
                          Thickness [mm] 17

The original pads for those calipers are 176mm so I dunno how those possible could fit without some grinding. And the obvious question would also be, why not use the pads designated for those calipers? =)

It is useful to combine the AUDI Ceramic caliper with three different discs:
                              - 360x34 mm 1-piece with 18" for about 200 Euro/pair
                              - 365x34 mm compound-discs with 18" for about 596 Euro/pair
                              - 385x36 mm 1-piece with 19" for about 436 Euro/pair.

There are no serial pads for using iron discs with this ceramic calipers. But we can adapt special PORSCHE pads for regular use with the above-named discs for 360 Euro.

The adaption of the calipers to a S2 is possible but caused of the wide dimension of the calipers/adapters it will cost exactly 400 Euro/pair.

We provide many products around the following topics: engine tuning, perforated sport brake discs, sport brake systems and much more.

We provide many products around the following topics: engine tuning, perforated sport brake discs, sport brake systems and much more. i was the experimental dog with ultimot.de about these options for the calipers.

Because they never made nothing similar.

i´´ve sent one caliper to there and all the rest it is their great work¡¡

my pads are custom made and they seems machined for fit 100% perfect in my calipers with discs

the best perfect fit option for those calipers are the 385x36 discs....use 18" wheels with less discs diameter it is some a "waste" of money
