ABY: IM (INLET) without service canals, TURBO, EM, OILCOOLER
well, its my translation of the swedish word "servicekanal" <;
when you mount/install the IM you put it in place and finger tighten some of the bolts.. then you can use a long/thin extender through some guide holes in the IM (the ones we swedes refer to as "servicekanaler") to be able to properly tighten up the bolts!
are you with me? <:
anyways.. these guiding holes has been removed/welded shut and afterwards the IM has been polished! (as you can see by the pics)
ahh yes. I had to buy a special hex tool to remove my AAN manifold, I know what you are referring to. I remember though, that (I thought) it would be near impossible to remove those bolts without the service canals. Is it different on the ABY manifold?
How difficult is it to remove?
it's not that difficult at all, you need to reach in from the sides instead.. I'll just leave it at "if I could do it, it's not the hard" <; (I'm not the most clever mechanic)
