Also, my wipers seem to be slightly 'off'. The drivers side wiper goes onto the 'a' post??? Any idea's? Is it just a case of repositioning the wipers? or a relay change? I seem to remember a post re this not long ago.
I'd try repositioning the wiper first as it will cost nowt!

If you are referring to the stopping point then the wiper usually just needs adjustment on the splined shaft. (I have never done this on an S2 though! )

Mine is like this..... what happens is that the arm is made of alluminium and once it starts to slip, it wears the splines off. DONT try to just tighten it as you could break the wiper motor arm, and then it WILL start to get expensive! Basically just buy a new arm, or go for one of vagparts aero wiper kits
Was a '93 3B, Dont ask now tho......
