Mk.3 Golf Recaro Subframes - should fit S2

Driver and passenger subframes from a mk.3 Golf. In as new condition. I've checked the spacing on the runners and they are the same as the S2 subframes I have. Will double check that they fit when I swap the seats over. The only difference is that these sit a touch higher, perhaps 1/2" than the S2 Recaro subframes, should still be 1/2" lower than the stock armchairs tho (my S2 subframes are about 1" lower than stock ).

Part numbers are 85.78.17 and 85.78.27.

Took a pic of the frames back to back with the S2 frames, legs are the same distance and the centre runner is in the same place too

centre runner is in the same place indeed but I did have to grind about 5 mm. off though.

Sure thing, I'll give you first dibs, drop me a PM or a line. I reckon we're not too different there John, when I got the Speed I was nearly 15st and have a fat behind It's genetic. Best bet is to come and collect from Bristol and we can sort a price out.

It should make track days a lot more comfortable, I really liked my Speed on the 'ring, Combe and Donny, allowed you to get on with driving rather than holding yourself in place and also you can leave them in and still use the back seats for shopping or even people if they're brave
