I think in all fairness to this guy his S2 is needing a little tweaked to get it running right thus why he is getting poor MPG so the facts he is stating is about his car not S2's in general ..He has made it quite clear he is not in a position to spend 1K to remedy this so fair enough

My S2 is now doing over 30mpg after the remap, If you take it easy at around 70mph it just eats up the road, i got 500 miles out of a full tank on the way to france last week.

My S2 is homefried. Bo HOW did you get the mileage on that? I struggle to get 300 to a tank even driving carefully the whole time. This week I have done 300 miles and my petrol light has been flashing for 2 days. i travel 40 miles a day to work and back in mine! I wish I was getting 500 to a tank even 350 would be nice....

Sorry, have to pitch in too, a colleague ran an AMD mapped S4 (bi-turbo) and the S2 (MRC mapped)... a high speed motorway cruise comparison was 19mpg (S4), 23mpg (S2). My short commutes in the S2 used to return 22-23mpg. Dropped to 20mpg when i had 430hp but would still get 30mpg @ 70... if your only getting 15 something is broken, i only managed to get that low on track!

That said, this would make a fantastic 'base' for anyone wanting to full RS2 spec. Good luck with the sale, and the S4's are a great machine... plenty on here that have sold the S2 to go for an S4, it's a very refined drive... each to their own an all that

well its quite some time since i had my 380bhp s2 and it did 24 mpg when tootling and never below 20 even when givin it some!!! i think something must be set wrong.... would love another but price is way up m8.... looks very nice though.
