    History

This is a one owner vehicle which has been maintained meticulously. I have detailed the car myself using what I consider to be excellent products. The car is a daily driver, however, and therefore the mileage is changing continually as is it’s cleanliness. I will do my best to make sure it is clean for any viewings unless you wish otherwise.

    Service Items

The oil has been replaced at 1499, 8219, 15329, 20189, 24583 and 28507 miles. Direct Injection engines are tough on oil.

AVS1 was performed on 07/1109 and AVS2 is scheduled for 12/01/10 at Camberley Audi – the UK’s premier Audi RS Specialist.

All 4 tyres are brand new 275/30/ZR19 Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics replaced on 29/12/09.

There is lots of life left in all the brake discs and new front pads (revised part number) were fitted on 26/08/09 (~3000 miles ago).

I will provide a new set of rear brake pads in the sale although they are not yet due for replacement.

I have in my possession a letter from Jeremy Hicks, CEO of Audi UK indicating details of the extended warranty that applies to the DRC system on the car. This will stay with the car.

You can see from the pictures this car is 100% original and in A1 condition both inside and out. Commensurate with a car of this age, there are one or two small stone chips on the front bonnet and rear blistered arches.

    Other Items of Interest

I also have in my possession 4 OEM Audi 7-spoke Alloys with 275/30/ZR19 Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics rubber fitted. The paint job on these alloys is flaking and the rubber is illegal for road use but would make a good extra set of “ready-to-go” wheels if you are interested in tracking the car. I would be happy to return these to pristine condition if required on a price-negotiable basis.

In addition, as mentioned above, I have the all the items necessary to install the Audi SDS (Speech Dialogue System) in the car which will essentially allow you to control the RNS-E system through voice commands. For those who lurk on the Audi forums, “craigyb” or others will happily undertake the required work for a fee. This was not, as I understand, an original option on the RS4 but would add an extra degree of pleasure to the ownership experience.

No timewasters - usual checks will apply to potential buyers.

Keys will only be released on confirmation of funds deposited in my account. The car is HPi clear.

36k (depending on whether you wish to avail yourself of the extra alloys and SDS items)

Car is advertised on Pistonheads. Photos of items of interest on request.

        Hey Ciaran,

I'm going to be up your way next week for a banzai snowboard trip (04/10-06/10)...looks like snow conditions are as good as they get in Scotland at the moment? I've never boarded Scotland so I'm keen to try...

        Cairngorm or Glenshee looks good...

I'll be sad to see this car go.

It may well be the best car I ever own bearing in mind what my requirements were.

        But I'm going turbocharged again...

        I've got my eye on everything from a monster MRC'ed B5 S4 to a C6 RS6.

Yeah, an MRC'd S4 would be nice. The snow is good at the moment, on the traffic report there were delays expected at Aviemore due to the amount of people trying to get up on the hill, I think that the police were even sending people away.

I'm down in Glasgow at the moment, so there is no snow here, but definately plenty up the road.

Anyway, this is way off topic, the car is a beaut and I got your last car which was a credit to you and was exactly as described. Good luck with the sale.

Well the B7 went a few weeks ago.

Glad I held out and got the right money.

I have remained in the Audi fold and now have a MRC'ed B5 S4 which is due for even more MRC'ing this week. The inspiration was this video:

I am pleased that in a recent shootout with an ex-B7 RS4 owner, who now owns a 2010 E92 M3, the car in its present spec is already significantly faster than the BMW.
