Thanks mate. Great car to be honest very refined, nice and quite witha slight V6 burble. Went up to Nottingham yesterday in it and they are brilliant to drive onthe motorway.

            I've been after a 330i for a while also

Read up on swirl flaps for the e46 diesels and some of the newer ones as well i think, put me well off a 330d!!!

I would prefer a 330d, its faster for a start!
If I got one I would get my mate to sort the flaps out straight away like he has on his

straight six sorry I went for the petrol due to the swirl flaps horror stories and a manual to as heard things about the auto atruggling with revers gear.

on the desiel debate... I have a E61 530d 231bhp and 500nm standard. off he mark its pretty slow but in gear its very quick upon throttle prod, and all that torque is avaialble form 1800rpm to the red line.

Swirl flaps really effects the earlier cars, they were removed on newer cars although my sidekick here has an E39 530d with 140k on the clock has had it for years only major issue has been a cracked manifold.

The later 320CD Come with 170bhp i'm pretty sure, so i can only assume that a newer e46 330d also has higher power possibly??

I got caught off guard once trying to pass a 330ci, surprised me i must say, but i soon passed him in my std ABY
