The plan is we'll replace it with an S3 if we get a reasonable amount for the RS2.

I'm going to try to explain this one last time... control actuation forces in the RS2 are high, the car is not an auto, and it's fifteen years old. Yeah, my wife wants a new car, BFD, anybody out there got one who doesn't like new car smell. I'm guessing power to weight on an S3 isn't that much worse than the RS2 and it'll be new. Maybe the RS2 is a collector car, but I'm looking for a better option for a daily driver.

            Seriously?

Ok, I'll spell it out for you. I want you to come to F. Liechtenstein, see a really nice, totally stock RS2 with 72,600km on the odo, and buy it. Simple. I know you already have one, but you might wanna buy another for your wife or something.

I'll be there in August, but since the car is in my wife's name... (I'm a US citizen, she's an F.L.'er), you could deal with her brother. He's a banker, maybe you want to hide some money while you're there.

Well still, since you have a heavily modified RS2 having a stone stock one might be fun too...

I've gotten a couple of requests by PM, including one from a moderator. Before I started this thread (with some words that could have been better chosen) I looked and saw that no one was posting about complete, undamaged RS2's so I decided not to put much info in, for instance I used my RS2 to tow a glider trailer for a season so it has a factory option tow hook... probably not interesting to the "tuner" crowd.

The way I'm dealing with this so far is just by PM. I'm copying my original response to any who ask so that people can see it's the same deal for everyone. I assume since Europe is relatively small and since this MAY be a collector car; that someone really interested is going to take the time to come to F.L. and check it out. Again 72,600km, never damaged, after the first year, never driven in winter. It's got a radio and a/c, it's stock except for that CD player, and maintained by Frommelt- now AMAG in Vaduz since new.

If you're happy to sell it,

then someone on here from a LHD country should snap it up. It sounds like a nice one?

                        Kind regards.

Maybe you might bring your wife to Stepford for a break?
