I have just checked the part numbers with KATE and she says 441 612 101B is the 3B
part number, the one I have is 441 612 099B, although I'm sure it came from a 3B coupé.

Can you read the number on yours?

Will have a look, is it visible without removing it?

The newer and older versions are fully interchangeable, although you need to take care with connecting the correct pipes to the correct places - also, there are short and long versions.
It is also possible that the bulkhead will need a notch cut out to fit the alloy version if going from a cast one. But, there should be no problems.

I very much doubt that, it is on the bit that is on the inside of the firewall,
buried behind the dash. You may be able to get a photo of the number with
a small camera or camera on a phone.

I will see if my mechanic friend can get a pic of it tomorrow evening. Im getting the brake system exclamation mark after two pumps of the brakes, anything else I could look at/replace?

Its probably your bomb that's dead in that case.
A lot quicker to change as well.
