Planning breaking my URS4 aan manual 6 speed

Cant get to the bottom of the boost cut :/

It can go for days perfectly then out of the blue just cuts sometimes at 0.8 then sometimes at 1.0 bar surges between 1 bar and 1.5 bar

    Planning breaking it

Standard car with 16' fooks, full grey leather 179,000 miles manual 6 speed

    Cheers

Would not want much for the wheels they are straight but could do with refurb.

Wheels maybe £60 or £160 with tyres as 2 are new

      They are 16" Fuch's

Does it has the climate control unit?

I am looking for a plug and play climate control for my ABY coupe.

Hello the Interior is a light grey leather in very good condition with only slight wear to driver bolster

£100 however I would think carriage to you would be three times that.

Yes i did check the MAF and connector

Gave it a wiggle the multiplug pins and connector are in great condition.

                  No signs of corrosion :/

You can't see the corrosion, you have to take the pins out of the female side and clean between the two faces with some worn out fine wet and dry.

Is it a fuel pump cut out so you get a big lurch? Or just a reduction in max boost?

Sorry, it seems a shame to break the car for something like this.. You can tell me to go away if you like

Yes its a huge big lurch and happens randomly

sometimes 0.8 bar then maybe 1bar

Then notice it sometimes surges between 1 bar and 1.5bar

Replaced the n75 valve with a manual boost controller set to 1.1bar and the surging stopped but still had the random lurch

The car was bought as it was a right time and place.

All i have done is mot it just wanted to try one as its always been on a to get list.

However I don't want to throw money into it

Get the stuff from a a4, you can still buy a LHD loom from audi but its over £100 and for that price I got everything needed for jamo to do his conversion.

Sad to hear you're thinking of breaking your urs4 great cars when they run well. Are your coils, pos units and boost hoses in good condition?

If you're breaking I'd be interested in gearknob depending on condition, Cigarette lighter insert, Central rear light cluster and Driver side wing.

                              cheers
