Any pictures of these seat bases?
Are they from an ABY or from an AAN car?
    Thanks.
    Cheers!

Hi, I am interested on the bases but I would like to make sure that they will be fine for what I want them. A guy I know has used some modified OEM bases like the ones you sell (but I haven't seen them, so they may be modified in a different way) to mount a backet seat and it seems that the seat is in a very high position. I want to use them to mount a couple of Recaro seats from a Golf 2. As the bases are different from the Recaro ones, I first wanted to make sure how high would the seats be.
It would be very kind of you if you could measure the height of the base, from the ground to the point where the seat would be attached, something like what I have drawn in the attatched picture, so that I could compare with the Golf bases attached to my seats.
Thanks very much for your attention.
                  Javier.

Only just saw this, as luck would have it I have a stripped out cabriolet outside that I could fit them into easily, so will do a test fit and take measurements tomorrow.

I've taken measurements as pictured below, the rear mounting bar sits 11cm above the carpet and the front 6cm above the mount.

Here's a picture of the handbrake lever as requested djh:

I sent you a PM last week.
I have checked my seats and they would fit pretty fine, so I would have the bases.
                          Cheers.
