The rs2 comes as one complete unit. I have one but needs re upholstered. It's no way like the s2 in two parts

This is the correct part number for the rs2 knob.

Can you pm me if you can get one for me at the price you quoted?

I assume there is no need to take off the center console to fit the gaiter as it comes as a whole including the plastic piece attached to the gaiter, correct?

If you google the PT No., you get a couple of interesting results, namely this one:

Interesting price but I couldn't know if it's a trustable site

I have looked at etka. Better than plain Google.

You don't have to take the centre console to fit it.

Well I would say yes, you do have to at least exposé where it's screwed into the base of the gaiter.

I guess just screwing off the S2 Knob, pulling the gaiter and plastic fitting off and then just fitting the RS2 item as it's just one fitting?

Yeah... But the base has a screw hole to hold it down. It's not clipped down fully. Well looking at the rs2 defo has a screw hole. But removing that rubber square by the handbrake will expose the screw.

There is a screw at the back, horizontally locking the gaiter in place. You reach it by removing the plastic cover on the posterior trim that lies in front of the handbrake

Should be easy enough then, is the cover in front of the handbrake easily removed? Anything I have to be careful of when removing it

Flat head screwdriver, thin one and the cover is off!
