Are you going for a full retrim then? I'm going to be looking for some decent leather ones where the leather on the side bolsters can be salvaged - I think cloth ones like this would be too much work

well if there in the condition I thought they were then yes a retrim would be definite ...no point in spending 2k on a paint job and lots on new parts only to open the door and have a minging interior. Plus im not bothered about o.e audi spec seats the recaro's are pretty generic so id rather buy cheap and spend my cash at the trimmers

Haha is your interior really tired looking then? I'm only looking for Recaros because I find the standard seats fantastically uncomfortable! Sat in the other S2 that Trist28 has when I bought his green one last month and the Recaros are miles better - they don't have that stupid curve in the backrest which means I sit with my lower back supported and my upper back and head miles away from the seat back.

Found a place in Huddersfield that does interior retrimming and went in for a chat this week - I'm hoping to get seats and have them retrimmed for under £800
