    Hello!

I´m working on the prototype, and its going well. I have tried it on the car today and it fitted great, but need to do some adjustments of course.

Me and my friend who is and engineer did some testing on my CAD-drawing. Strengthtesting and the difference between aluminium and steel, the aluminium should do the job but its of course stronger with steel. There is some aluminium that is really strong but its to expensive. So will go for the steel.

I will need to do a bit lighter and make it more slim.

It looks bent on the image because i didn´t tighten the bolts. Haha.

I someone interested in some adapters if i do this?

    Have a nice weekend!

    /Rikard, Sweden.

      Yeah!

That is quite similar but i hope my solution will be more cheap!

Its nice to not need to do the discs smaller from 300 to 280mm to.

      We will see

I'm very interested in a pair of adaptors, I already have V8 calipers and vented smaller discs fitted (slightly modded front discs from a Merc A Class) , this would allow me to fit the larger standard (Audi) sized discs

          Hello!

The work is going in the right direction. The prototype is pretty good now, just need to do some changes and some work to do it more light and of course more slim.

Its how it looks now, will give you better photos when its finished.

Its quite heavy now, haha. But its almost impossible to break i think, so thats why i will do it more slim.

            Yeah, no problem at all!

It´s my goal as i wrote before, this must be a cheap conversion. And easy when you need to change the discs. I dont want to take down the disc from 300 to 280.

But with my solution you wont need to do that!

                  Hello!

I´m now done with the adapters.

Just for your interest, the adapter is in TWO pieces. One is the adapter and the another one is the "nut". As you can see in the photos.

They look really good! I´m was supposed to fit them to my car today but my garage did now have any power, so i didnt have any light. couldn´t see ****.

Just gonna check the choice of material once more, the engineer/cnc-operator at the place i have been at want to look on a solution with aluminium. But safety first, better heavy and strong than light and weak. And i will add paint on them to of course. But i wanted to take pictures of them before i add paint, you can see how them look better without the paint i think.

So if you interested of the adapters please write a PM or write here so i can put togheter a list. Those have already writed in this thread is already on the list

The adapters will be delivered with paint and bolts.

                  Have a nice day!

                  Rikard, Sweden.

                    Looking really good.

Do you have any idea of the delivered cost yet?

There are different grades of aluminium, so could be a possibility...

Also, would make hard anodizing a possibility instead of paint?

No, but i hope the postage will not be higher than 25 euro. Will look further into it.

Yes, its possible to do hard anodizing instead. Ihavent decided yet which to do

                                Hello!

Yeah, i´m working on them. I will get the right bolts today or tomorrow with correct pitch.

My CNC mechanic have get the material to their buisness now so hopefully he can manufacture them soon.

After that i will just get them a anodizing and then they are ready for shipping!

A few weeks away, guessing 3 weeks tops!
