    Panasonic Toughbook CF-51MK3 Laptops

As well as Audi's, I also have a soft spot for Panasonic products!
Basically you will recieve two (2) laptops, one with relatively low hours and one with more, one 80GB HD and caddy, (both new and correct for the model) and one power supply. Both will have batteries that should last between 3-4 hours. They will have the factory SW installed XP3. They will have 1GB of RAM.
As its impossible for me to guarantee these, I am effectively suppling a complete spare which as the HD/Caddy takes seconds to swap means should anything happen (which is highly unlikely) you can be back working as soon as the other boots up!
The specs are outlined in the PDF below. They are not fully rugged but are much more robust than the majority of crappy plastic models other manufactures offers, having recently had the displeasure of opening up a Toshiba recently.
They are dependable and have a devoted following amongst Toughbook devotees even if they have other fully rugged Toughbooks. They are upgradable to a certain extent if that floats your boat in terms of SW (W7 etc) and hardware although you will need to do some homework on that. Due to their build quality you are able to open them up and indeed repair or replace components easily. Not that you are likely to need to do that for the forseeable future.
I have one that has 27000 hours on it so they should have plently of usable life left. Still capable of being used around the home and of course for VCDS or other automotive uses. With that in mind I am offereing these to Forum members.
I will confirm hours and serials numbers and forward pics if necessary to serious buyers.
Price is £125 delivered within UK. Unfortunately I do not want to risk sending outside the UK.
    Please PM if interested.
Will answer any sensible questions as best I can.

In I did not have a CF 29 I would buy this

If your using a laptop for automotive or field work you need this in your life.
Makes regular laptops feel like toys by comparison.

I assume the 51 has a built in rs232/serial port?

No usb-serial converter will ever match a built in port

The saddest thing is that I knew what it was without Googling it!
Believe me these things are addictive!

To be fair that doesen't top stopping a bullet! I'm not sure Panasonic recommend that either mind!
Just to be clear, the CF-51 is NOT fully Rugged unlike the CF-29/30 models. More of a Semi Rugged or Rugged Lite!
