Jake, i have ran pagid pads in my porsche calipers and they didn't have threaded holes in them, so i didn't use the anti rattle shims, just lots of copper grease. I did get some squeaks at one point but not for long. Pete-RS2 ran them also but had more problems with squeaks/vibrations.
Rear disco lights maybe? I've had to replace both bulb carriers to stop this. Leaky rear lights caused the corrosion on the carriers. All sealed up now and no problems so far.
Well they had a look and apparently it’s intermittent. I've only driven it twice now (once to bed the brakes in, and then once to the dealership for the MOT), but it was on the entire time for me. They seem to think it’s a dodgy wire repair on the rear tail light cluster. I'll be checking into it further this weekend.

Regarding the track rods: No offence intended, but do they know what they are doing?
I can only hope my friend. Normally I'd take the time to check into this myself and save on the labor but I'm on a very tight schedule and simply didn't have the time. But what's done is done, and the alignment is good to go so I'm happy.

Thanks Martin. I asked the dealer to fit new pads if they had them in stock, just to save me the trouble. They were going to be in there anyway doing the tie-rods so what the hell. However, they said the pads were fitted incorrectly and they've fixed it and installed anti-rattle clips.
Now I'm not the smartest peanut in the... ahem , but I've been doing brakes for quite some time now and I'm pretty damn sure what I did was correct. It’s not like those anti-rattle clip bolt threads appear or disappear depending on installation. One pad has holes, the other does not. The one with the holes goes outboard, period. It’s not like you have any other option. So I'd have to raise the B.S. flag on that one. But whatever, they somehow got the bolts to take, so that too is now good to go.
This weekend I'll be taking care of the few last remaining details and then she'll be ready for a new owner. I'm going to post a for sale ad in the for sale forum now with intentions for it to be ready to go by the weekend. I don't have any good pictures but I'll snap a bunch on Saturday and post 'em up.
Again, I really appreciate all your help with this. Every sticking point with this project has been solved here and I'm forever in your debt. Your considerate input and advice made all the difference. Thanks for putting up with my newbie questions.
