kwlw its not a problem having the radiator in the boot its miles away from the speed bumps going to put a mesh underneath to stop stones from damaging the rad. still having problem bleeding the bloody thing hard to get rid of the air lock .it should give good balance with that( 21 litre water injection tank )and the battery in the back . still experimenting with the springs . might change them once i start driving the car until i get the right balance.

I think Sau means the radiator core is normally supported vertically. So if it is mounted at an angle, the centre of the core may be under unusual strain. If that makes sense?Originally posted by kwlwIdea is neat, however I am a bit confused about how center area of radiator will stand speed bumps. I bet suspension on that masterpiece will not be soft as sponge

with the weight ? i really dont know time will tell. it is supported from all 4 sides though . he was saying something about speed bumps i think he dosn't realise the rad is not flush with the boot floor its actually away from the floor . i think what he is saying is the pyramid type speed bumps that normally run between the wheels and always catch the exhaust.Comment

It looks fantastic mate.
I can't wait to see it in the flesh.
I love Panther metallic, but a Sport quattro in red is better IMHO.

, I clearly see where radiator is
.
I meant that center core of the radiator will suffer excessive stress from it's own weight. My coupe radiator is angled also, and there's been an issue, that plastic end tanks could not stand vibration. Speed bumps put load's of stress to everything that it is in the car.

Thanks for the pictures Jamil an Stu
What do you reckon the weight is as the car is now, with rollcage?
And jamil, do you have pictures of the car in 2 bits. Were its actually waiting to be welded?
Cheers,

In the second pic, I see a bit of black rear quarter panel. Is that from the kit? or a piece of new oem sheetmetal welded in?
Actually, how much fender do you have to leave on for the body kit to be attached to?
btw Jamil, I'm picking the kit up myself, Maybe we can meet up then. That way I can check/spy on your car
