Are you using the 2,309cc (7A) block? I ask because the bore is 82,5mm as opposed to the 2,226cc (3B / ABY / AAN) blocks 81,mm bore. The RS2 head gasket will therefore not seal properly.

I think you have to think on something different camshaft like 7a.
7a is a cheap upgrade for stock 3b engine, not for a monster like this.
bigger throtle is better gas reaction.

      good luck

The cams will be fine to start out with. Javad over at 034efi.com is making 600awhp on a mustang dyno, which is closer to 650awhp on a dynojet.

The spec stage 4 clutch wont hold at those power levels. www.034efi.com has a special spec clutch that will work.

That is a strange turbo combo you are running. I've never seen the gt35r turbine wheel paired to 70mm inducer compressor wheel. From what I've heard the gt35r turbine wheel flows as much as the older P trim, so it may work fairly well. I doubt you are really going to be able to use all of the compressor wheels flow capability. That compressor size is good for 800whp, but you aren't going to get near that pairing it with the gt35r turbine wheel. Maybe 680whp tops.

I'm having my GT4088R retrofitted with a GT42R compressor wheel which is 70.3mm inducer and 94mm exducer. I feel this is a much better match then the smaller gt35r wheel turbine wheel to a compressor of that size.

What you might want to look into doing is have innovative use a slightly smaller compressor wheel with the gt35r turbine side. It has been shown that the smaller T67 compressor wheel is a very good match to the gt35r. You may be saying to yourself that the t67 and t70 aren't that far apart, but the real difference is in exducer diameters.

            T67:
            Inducer: 67mm
            Exducer: 84mm

            T70:
            Inducer: 70mm
Exducer: 94mm <----------- This is the BIG difference between the two.

The moment of inertia of the t67 is much less because of its significantly smaller exducer diameter. This means that it will spool much nicer then the t70.

The cool thing is that the T67 compressor wheel has been shown to be good for 750whp, so it will more then make the power your looking for. Paired with the GT35R turbine wheel and you will have a combo that will get damn near your 700whp goal. The only thing holding you back is the turbine wheel.

Best of luck on your project.

            Regards,
            Justin

Hi Rubens, did Jose also modify the 7A head to fit the water manifold? If not, who can do this in the States?

yes the turbo option I agree that t67 will works better than T70. i will see how to do that now as I have all in hands.......
Yes the 7A head is ported, polished and machined to fit the water manifold, A lot od labor involves and I expend 1500 already just in parts for the head work. that job will be 3K easily.
The clutch is Specs from JAVAD (034EFI) should hold 700hp, I hope......
About the cams I will start with 7A if not happy i go with CAT cams.
Head gasket will have to have a custom cooper one made. as the Rs2 will not seal propery. What about the stock 7A gasket? Any idea?
Anybody know id the S2 axles will hold that much? maybe RS2 ones?
                  Best Regards,

I don't think you'll ever have 700 HP at the wheels on any european dyno... american ones, maybe....

Justin and Rubens, I'll only trust a MAHA brake dyno and nothing else. I have used many many many different dynos from different manufacturers and so far only a MAHA gives accurate readings. Sorry but when a bone stock AAN S4 puts out 215 WHP on a Mustang and the car is absolutely bone stock and there's nothing done to it, then there is something wrong there.

Not meaning to offend you Rubens, but I don't think that if you put your car on an European dyno you'd have as much as some american dynos read.

The local AWD mustang dyno that I've used many times shows 150-160whp for a stock s4 2.7tt. Would you say this is a reasonable measurement???
