I think a lot is depending on the weight of the car.

      Even more on power :mischeif:

I think 700 would do the trick with some proper DOT slicks.

Looks like 700 will not do , you need 800-900 and 1100 kg so big weight reduction
        acording to this

Id did 11,22 sek on street tires, with 605 hk and 775 nm.
going for 670 hk, for this year and hoping for a 10 sek time...

i used slicks once, but it feelt like the car dident start so fast...

maby it is better with street tires????

Have you heated the tires up? If so, they should stick helluva lot more then street tires

At this power lewels with such BIG turbos its really good to have a standalone ECU so you can program your own Launch Control,so the engine will build up boost at the start line in standing position. This will also reduce your 1/4 mile times, because you will have a much much better launch! And another nice feauture is the ALS,so between shifts, lag is almost eleminated.

                          Hi Palle,

so I am driving totally daily tires Toyo Proxes.
But I have some experiences with different drag tracks.

I will showe you 2 different movies with same tires - Toyo Proxes:
                          http://www.mobisux.com/album/data/50...-_odzgoraj.wmv
here you will see that tires did not have much grip but the car have boost immediately.
No probs at start at all.

Here I had same tires but it was 42C outside and the basis track was concrete not asphalt. First 2 rounds I had problems with making boost in 1.gear (original engine management so without lounch control) so we had TO OIL the tires...
                          http://www.mobisux.com/album/showpho...cat=500&page=1

Well my opinion; if tires spin a litlle in 1.gear that is not bad - boost immediately and also maybe better for gearbox and diff...
                          Regards Ed

15-16 rally lighweight disks(they have enought space for large calipers also, like pegeout 206 wrc had , white ones) + decent road tyres . I have a friend who with doing this easely got about 1sec on 400m. And he drove scooby =]
