That turbo is huge, what sort of HP and power band will you get with the new turbo?

I was really hoping to break the 600bhp barrier, but tuner is gunning for a more usable 550. Either way guess I will have to suffer some lag (now that I have got used to it -since EM exchange - ). Fingers crossed will be on dyno this week or next for mapping?

The turbo is a T61 in O+ trim (whatever that means? ). Turbo air injectors are being used so this should help with the lag but I will have to wait and see what the results are. SHould know soon now

It recycles exhaust gases to help with lag. - basically a 'kinder on the engine' form of anti-lag.
I think some cars also use similar systems to help emissions

My Pectel ECU has the facility to control them. I think som,e of the big power Ford people have them so I will try and find out more.

I could be off the mark here, but as I understand it, it's a system to control the amount of air bled through the wastegate with pulsed air injectors, so you can get higher boost with a lower pressure WG. It also means you can precisely map when the turbo bleeds off excess pressure. The thing to watch out for, however, is that if the air injector decides to fail it closes the system (unlike a failed WG) and your turbo fries.

S2 and B4 mounts are different to type 85 ones, they are offset, so don't fit...

It also is there to stop the turbo running at overspeed.

THis is pretty much how the system was explained to me, just trying to explain to others when not mechanically minded not that easy

However,

(It's not just the turbo but the whole engine you would need to woory about).

Although this may normally be the case, Pectel does receive signals as well as send them so should the air injector fail and the turbo exceed its normal parameters the engine would go into safety mode.
