hello!
nice project. hopefully everthing is going well, i can´t imagine that everything with the gearbox and the clutch is going to work as it has to.
what is there planned? the clutch of the Audi V8 Shift-Version? Which Gear-Box is the fitting one?
greetings from germany

I have a B3 in my garage with a V8 too. It fits just fine, no real problems at all. I currently use a 01A with the S6 clutch and flywheel, engine is a AEC. The ABH and ABZ and any V8 fits just fine with any 01E, 016 or 01A. You'll need to fab some engine mounts. Just like it's posted above, MG is the place to be for these issues.Comment

thanks for information
it seem´s then to be an easy project
what about the brakes, what are you going to use there? the hydraulic version or the pneumatic-version? i think that you´re going to have there a small problem with the size of these parts and the left cylinder-bank....
good luck and a nice sunday

battery tray, right hand engine mount chopped, abs unit bracket scraped, fitting nicely upto the gear box now, not quite lined it up to bolt together yet, blizcat had to mill the fins off the under side of the sump so might have to do that yet, once the gear box (6speed s2) is bolted up to the bell housing, i can take the car to work to fab up some engine mounts,
im scrapping the bomb brakes as i think there about as much use as a chocolate fire guard, so im going servo assisted, also replacing the stock bias valve with an adustable one, as im putting the raditators in the boot, and having bigger brakes on the rear i need to fine tune them.
i may have to look at the s6 flywheel route as im struggling to get an aluminium one,
still looking for someone to decode my ecu as well
will post some more pix later
cheers

if i cant fit the servo behind the engine on the bulk head, blizcats fitted servo as well i think) then i will look at a remote servo elsewhere in the car

what do you want to decode? the electronic engine immobiliser?still looking for someone to decode my ecu as well
(my dictionary says that this is the right word, but i can´t imagine that cause it sounds silly
sorry for my bad english hopefully you´re understanding a little bit
)
but back to the ECU, a friend of mine can do that perhaps you take a look at his homepage:
he is very very competent and really fast as well with his 580HP S2 Coupé.
good luck

cheers matey,
as you can see i had to chop part of the engine mounting bracket off where the oil filter housing is,
its all bolted up to the gearbox bell housing now so i can take it to work and fab up the new engine mount brackets
