bout 900 by the time you add up all the little extras - very reasonable i thought, can put you in touch with the guy if you want

what were the extras? i assume a reprogram was needed to sort the immobiliser and something to dissable the post cat lambda? trying to weigh out the pros and cons to keeping the oem loom.....i dont plan on turboing, poss a supercharger at later date so the oem would suit me better but i'd like a remap after everything so unleash a few more ponies, will have nice exhaust and p&p heads, so would need it, basically are the 'extras' all programming bits as the tuner should be able to sort these....

I know over on Motorgeek Hilly was able to make a plug and play VEMS box to run his ABZ over the factory wiring as well. Price for all the ECU hardware and necessary supplies would be around $900 US as well.

Hilly put his ABZ into a Lotus, so no CQ involved

He used the entire ABZ engine loom and desoldered the ecu connector off the factory ABZ ECU and then wired short jumper leads inside the VEMS ecu case to the VEMS hardware.

ah i see, so WAB your are actually using VEMS......hmmm....think ive twisted my own arm into afm......suppose i'll just have to itb it......thats if i even get a v8...i always get too far ahead of myself!!!
