Sheesh...if its that one I would give it a miss personally........
and hunt around for one a few 100£ more but that will not cost you hundreds of hours and £££ to put into a roadworthy state.....

i don´t think that this car seem´s to be in real bad condition. Although we have no pix from the left side i think that this is a base which is worth to be rebuilt.

Here in Germany are enough people who would spend a huge amount of money for that car. these cars are going to be rarer and rarer.

I´ve seen really destroyed cars which also had been rebuilt. Perhaps is here in germany an other relation between cars on the market and people who wanna have such cars...

in the end you always have to decide for yourself...

Me too.
About 2 years ago, I had to tow a friends 525iX station wagon that was in pretty good shape with leather, auto aircon and double sunroof and it had been smashed on one side while it was parked by a drunken driver who had missed the curve and the insurance company wanted the wrecked car to be brought to the local BMW d/ship for proper, ecological dismantling...

It was a weird and somewhat sad feeling to see that pretty rare car in my rearview mirror knowing that it was rolling the last miles of it's life...

Actually that B$ shortie looks cool. Might look a bit strange with an S2 bumper on the front infact it would then look awkward IMHO.
