what a kind of crank do you use??
and where did u get it?

Tommy, Peter Kowatsch from PK Motorsport knows his ****. If you want a good crank, get it from him, he is good and he knows how to get a crank balanced and stuff.

There are several possibilities to fine balance the system and could you tell which method was used in the company that balanced your crank/total system.

I do not know the factory way and therefore asking.

way number one is
- to balance each single component first to zero
- then start adding parts and balance each round
(crank, damper, flywheel, pressure plate)
- then add the % weight extra to simulate the rod & piston weights and finalize balancing to zero

way number two
- do above but without the simulated % addition

way number three (close to one)
- overtake some phases in way one
- skip some single balancings and then balance total pack
to zero OR with to zero with % simulation weight additions.

If someone could reveal how Audi factory did the T5 20v balancing would be great to know.

if i am going to get one i need to balnance it with my cluch and my rods and pistons, damper..

- Balance the system to zero with simulated weights at crank:
100% of mass at lower end of rod + bearing mass + 50%
of mass of upper end masses (piston, rings upper end of rod)

Could you somehow check in Sweden how the Volvo 5 cylinder is balaced at the factory ? - that knowledge has to be somewhere in Sweden available in Internet and you probably know good google search words for that or ?.

Hi, I have a quastion about this picture

Where did you get these tappets from. Or did you make them yourself?
That would make them machanical when installing these. more then 7400 rpm?

The RPM's are limited because of the stroke..you can go to 8500/min maximum, but all components must be fine balanced an weight optimized..

I have now a few new pics..and a much bigger turbo..in future i want a garrett style..but i don't know which one..i also want another itnake manifold and some bigger injectors..but @the moment i think thats ok..

Last Night i moved it to my other Garage, to finish it next days..

i have to make the downpipe..this is very very **** with the dahlbaeck EM
and some other little things i have to do..
i have now installed the original porsche GT3 Rims

I`m realy bored with my car nowadays, it is running OK, no problem for the last month, suspension still with some noises that i can not find, I changed almost everything, it is very fast since I swaped into ethanol but i still do not like my S2 limo anymore. I`m planning to buy another M3. I think that is much more smooth driving and much more like a track car than the S2. I feel I`m in a PANZER TANK.
