New trunk lock and sensor for the lights installed. Also all the door frames are in and the rear small Windows are cleaned. When it will get warm the Glas guy can I get all the Windows in. Cam Cover was also modified needs to get powder coated. Next up few lines engine harness and brake pipes. Amazing how many New parts are available after 30 years of this car production.

As some of the interior wiring was missing and ac system needed to go in some of modifications needed to be made. A lot of new parts went in this part of the project. Also engine harness for emu black was made. Im going to use mfd in cluster in stead of original bc display. had fitting problems of the drive by wire pedal adapter as I think it was not made to go in a car witch full ac system as one of the flap drives are on the way as you can see in the pictures. Later i think i will be selling it. So decided to go the proven way with the tdi pedal box. Hipe the electric part will be soon over.

Interior is also taking some shape. Installed 6 speed shifter from audi a6 c5 for the 6 speed conversion. Sunroof springs new from audi tradition and seal. Got the rs2 steering rack refurbished and painted black to suit the red black colors in the rest of the car. Rs2 rack has 2.5 turs lock to lock.

Fuel tank washed from the inside and the outside to get the old nasty stuff out. Installed older version of nuke fpr as it has a different mounting bracket. Getting ready to drop Bosch Fuel pump in tank. Some seals were damaged and in the mix up ordered 50 orings. Well didnt cost a fortune and spare parts are always good to have.

Used donor ac system had to be taken apart, cleaned and all the material on the flaps redone. Got OEM heater core from audi tradition as i dont know how long the aftermarket ones will hold. Not planing to take the dash out soon. Cant wait to deive this car in summer with ac on.

Some interior parts are comming out from the part storage after almost a few years. Interior trims got polished and airgab trim had to be swapped over. Instrument cluster needs some attention as the part of it started to peel off. Steering wheel needs some love but at this time its only used just to make everything work and after that it will go out for some restoration. Also need new part under the seeering wheel as the clockspring is broken.

Fuel pump line inside the fuel tank does not fit new pump.as the old fuel tank came from another car. Need to get the fuel pipe and the part that it connects tonit as it has a crack. Fuel tank is in and some new clips are going in. Looking for fuel pipe heatshield or aome alternative for it.

All the windoes are in the car. Used oem front seal from audi tradition and for the rear some alternative from the company that installedghe windows. The rear subframe is back from sandblasting and is getting ready for installation. Hope the solid subframe mounts will not be to hard.
