Hey guys,
How's it going all?
Well the blue CQ20 is set to return after some long thought, So to get things started after John had picked up the drivetrain today to give me a bit more working room and also lent me an engine stand (
cheers matey I owe you a few beers),
Today has been a good day on the car, engine out (via a two man lift
) and up on the stand, all bits removed so I can get to it to give it a good clean, removed all the paint off the block so I can give it a good coat myself, checked a few other bits over too whilst I am at it just to make sure that the engine is in good order before it goes back in, spark plugs have been ordered, other bits and bobs on the way too, lots of painting and claening to do to get it the way I want it before it goes in.
Then the hard work begins!!!!
Changing drivetrains over form another CQ20, changing the clutch (advice on which one to get please
and where to get it (prices too)), doing the interior, getting it a quick paint over and re laquer, suspension, all bushes, etc, basicclay going to put a well oiled car together and then pop down to MRC for a bit of a mapping session....:mischeif:
Hehe will post picks up later tomorow when I get chance to take some...... Off to wash all the paint off me now that came off the block.....
