The plan is to have it all here and get the swap done, by the end of the day subframes will be off so I can get the bushes changed and the things cleaned up!!!

Just, But got woken up by my mum with some bad news so car on hold for a few days......

Just got my vaccum hosing and S3 recirc valve (made in metal (forge type))
Just a quick one, hat sizes are best for the inlets and outlet on the catch tankl??? Think the ones I have may be a bit small?????

thinking of buying a JDM style one now off the bay and having the top tapped to take a breather filter!!!!!

Well then boys and girls,

In between sporadic bits of rain and sun I have had a busy day. REar subframe been removed, cleaned, rebushed including the powerflex rear diff bush, suspension legs back on, wheels on and the rear of the car on teh ground. Only got the rear calipers and braided lines to sort ont eh back end now and that won't take long at all......

Must say that all teh bushes were totalled, the rear diff bush fell apart once the bolt was out, the subframe bushes were toatlly stuffed and the diff mounts were totally detatched from teh steel plate

Ah well all done now anyway.

Next tis the front getting the same treatment!!!!!!!

Then the engine in, the Loom has been fulkly prepped, bits lengthened and all taped up ready to go in (now I know where allt eh connectors go)

Only bummer is the weatehr is against me

Well got the old 7A out, front legs off, all neccesary engine bits out, new top mounts on the front ready for the legs to go back on (tomorow hopefully),

So tomorow it is just drop the front subframe and gearbox, change all the bushes and mounts and bobs your uncle put em back on.....

Front subframe done and remounted after full bush and mount treatment. The gearbox mount under the drivers side fell in two pieces when I jacked the box up a touch.........
No surprise there then, All the subframe bushes were a PITA to do, had to borrow my mates press as the washer and bolt technique didn't work on teh two long ones......

Legs back on, (top mounts done) wheels on with the A8 discs sat behind them for me to admire, just waiting on teh porsche barkes from corey and the smaco's from mr Nugent to complete everything off, Just going to go play with the loom now and get that in place..... (will try to take some photo's as I go if I remember and don't get too engrossed in it)
