°well the thing is, there is so mutch mix on this car(thank you previos owner) that i do not know what is what, will try to sort a new turn signal out.

well found the prob, i have the ancient stone age WR engine block, and the coolant hole, over the thermostat will need some redoing. And thanks to dan at 034 i now have the pics and soforth on how, to do it... yehaaa

After calibrating the WB. (hope you are using the XD-16). You want to start lean on your tuning. If you haven't done this before you want to have additional plugs on hand. Anything below a 10 will start to foul plugs up quick. If you run very rich, the wet spark can kill plugs. So use cheap plugs to get a base-line dialed in. Wide open throttle shoot for 12.2. Idling, you want to be rich until warm. I like my idle around Stoic 14.5-14.6 because it smells cleaner. Throttle Lift you will run very lean (18-20s). And many people will part throttle, low RPM, off boost tune for slighly lean for economy on a street car (15.2), but I keep it Stoic or Rich or my Rally car. Basically between 12.2 and 14.6 for part throttle and nailed around 12.2 for WOT.
Keep in mind that if you have a misfire, the O2 will read Lean because of the used O2 in the exhaust. If you have alot of misfires, You can't tune. IF you are very very rich with alot of misfires, the O2 will actually be reading Lean (although you are running rich). So, check your plugs frequently before you tune. Check plugs before you start a tuning session to make sure they're clean, especially if you were in the 10s or lower on the last session.Comment
