      Just got back from MRC.
It was a very successful day.

Im not going to give anything away yet but will post some vids up very soon.

On the way home i got 1.9bar in 5th which then settled to 1.8bar and held that past 140mph (on private road)

All in all i am very very happy with the results and once again Mihnea has done him self proud!

      Vids to come soon

            Small update,
In the next few weeks i plan to fit a new flywheel, clutch and front subframe, as well as move the battery to the boot.

I'm also going to replace the pipework from the IC to the TB with 3" alloy pipe that will house the maf using one of the maf flanges from James.
I will also replace the pipework from the Turbo to the IC and replace the twin vee port setup i have at the moment with a single turbosmart 52mm raceport bov, that will be welded directly to the IC with a alloy flange or to the pipework with a SS flange.

I'm also making new pipework from the airbox to the turbo, I have something special planned for this but its still in developing stages.

Here is the subframe AndyP gave me, looks quite new after it had a little clean.

I have since set fire to the bushes so i can fit my alloy mounts instead.

The car is no of the road again and the following is due before its ready to drive again:

              Replace clutch
              Replace gearbox
              Rebuild prop
Rebuild all the intake pipework its going to be 3" alloy all the way from the airbox to the throttle body.
The pipework from the airbox to the turbo will also have a join to a 200mm HKS filter that will sit on a butterfly valve controlled by the eboost2 module.
The pipework from the turbo to the intercooler will T off to the 50mm turbosmart raceport.
The pipework from the intercooler to the throttle body will house the MAF using one of james alloy maf adaptors.
All the boost control is using AN fittings with braided hoses so its fully airtight.

Here is the boost control gear:

Today i removed all the old inlet pipework. i also checked the timing before refitting the cambelt cover because the belt seamed a little lose. The top cam, crank and dizzy marks were spot on but the flywheel line mark which was very hard to see was a tooth out... i dont see how this can really be the case as crank and flywheel should always be the same..

I moved the water pump up a few mmm to take up some slack in the belt and then refitted the cover.

What i have noticed is that the car really doesn't like the damp, it struggles to start and to idle until its warm if its been standing for a while. I think there is moisture coming in to the crank case through the open ended catch tank/ breather system.
I removed that today too and all the pipework was covered in yellow goo.

I also think that i really need to get an under tray as this will help to keep moisture thats coming though the ground out...

I fitted the first part of the new intake today.
Its a airbox and mushroom filter system, whats fitted now is only the trial, the final version will have a butterfly valve just behind the mushroom filter thats controlled by the EB2 module.

Here is the new pipework fitted up, its 3" all the way through.

                  From above.

This also shows the 4 port WGFV which connects to turbo, wg lower chamber and wg upper chamber as well as a exhaust port.

And, just to prove that the bonnet still closes with out any issues at all.

No more heat soak thats for sure...

Bo that 4 port isn't connected up correctly for use, the top chamber should be connected to exhaust at no WGFV duty and the bottom to the turbo pressure at no WGFV

                      I have it like this:

                      turbo inlet -> bottom chamber
                      exhaust -> top chamber

On power to wgfv it shifts air from bottom turbo inlet to top chamber.

The way you have it is very dangerous, if the valve fails all boost pressure goes to the top chamber and the wastegate wont open!!! major boost spike

In the pictures i have just the exhaust and inlet ports swapped round. It was only a test fit.

I have now swapped them and am going with these distructions:

                          eboost2 module

                          hey Bo¡¡

wich are the advantajes of the "eboost2 module"??

                          never heard nothing about it....

it is something like unplug the N75 and install a valve between N75 and wastegate??

will you can explain it a few?? i will send you a kiss

ah¡¡ and where did you bought these spark plug wires?? they are the silicone ones??

i was looking for them 1 month ago ,but unfortunately did not found nothing and then i´ve bought the original ones

The EB2 controller is just a boost controller, and replaces the motronic boost control. It has a boult in MAP sensor and can control boost according to pressure or engine RPM. It also has some AUX outputs which can be set to trigger at certain boost or RPM thresholds. For example intercooler spray, butterfly valve on the exhaust. etc etc. Its hated by most people on here as far as i can tell. And I'm not so sure about them myself but i had one spare so am going to give it a try. Hopefully it will make the boost come on harder and keep it more steady as the boost tended to flicker at WOT between 1.8 and 1.9 bar.
If its no good ill just sell it on.

                              i see friend

and then with it you will try to keep less agressive hight boost in low rpms (better for Rods ) and after 4000rpm go for the 1,9bar with k24 7200 true or not??

good luck with it,we are waiting your experiments

                              thanks¡¡
