Some 6 pot cayenne calipers on there way mate!

i just had my struts changed and 6 pot cayenne calipers fitted

What is involved with mounting the Cayenne calipers? Which brackets? What rotors? What miniumum size wheel? (17, 18, ??)

you'll need spacers ,merc v8 discs ,new brake lines,and some new bolts for the calipers
corey fitted the brakes for me .
me and lune have the same kit
and i think they're gr8
much improved from the ufo brakes
i've got 18" on mine but it looks like you'd get away with
17" but don't quote me on that

Well almost anything, including G60's, would be an improvement over the UFO brakes.

You didn't answer the "which brackets" question but you mentioned "spacers". Please elaborate.

i think they're 20mm spacers but corey has the specs
so you'll have to email quattronics mate

What is the torque setting for the ARP rod bolts?

Also the ARP head bolts?

the tourque settings should be on the label, or in the package, they where on my head bolts

Update

Getting rocker cover back from the paint shop today.
Still waiting on a few bits from the us and vagparts then its time to swap the rods and bearings.

Going to be looking at the front brakes today to see what is involved in taking the UFO's off if the weather holds out...

Merc wheel fitment as well.

Scat Steel rods are now in the block and new sump gaskets. Just for the head to go on this week hopefully.rocker.jpg

Big thanks to Steve for the help and who has some photos of the rebuilding of the block.

All done with the block in place and no removal or dropping the subframe.
