Started up, checked for leaks and such. Looks to be working okay. It actually ran better now than ever before.
Tried to take it for a little ride, but the temp got high (105-110C) pretty fast. Got back home with it, stopped it, and now it doesnt start. I'm thinking the distributor wasn't tightened down enough, so the hall-sender is out of pos. That can explain why it would run, but not start again.

The joys of having the car as a hobby.. It's a joy when it works, but you can get ever so depressed when it's not..
Back to work today, I'm going to set the timing again friday, and also sort my radiator fan. (Temp.sensor and fan wiring).

Hall sender issue discussed above turned out to be a failing G4.

Took the car for a two-hour drive. Everything worked allright.
My Oil pressure warning went off at one point causing a case of the yikes, but it turned out to be dodgy wiring.

        (Temp.sensor and fan wiring).
Agreed, so I can take solace in the fact that it is not just me. There's at least two of us that are affected.

Glad the car is working out well at the moment.

Car is looking very well for all the work you've done!

Any details on the aluminum radiator? IE. price/source?

Had the car in a garage at work over the winter.

The rad is a 034 job. fits allright and looks okay

Just bought a AAN engine with a 01E gearbox. Thinking of putting the AAN head on the 3b block, and using the 01E. Some more wiring, and then we're running coils
